Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu, dear brothers and sisters,
We are incredibly delighted to invite you to join us for the auspicious occasion of Eid Al Adha, which we will be celebrating together at Falkirk Islamic Centre. This joyous day of unity, remembrance, and worship presents a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood within our vibrant community.
This year, the Eid prayer will be held on the blessed day of the 28th of June at the spacious Ochilview Park (Stenhousemuir FC), FK5 4QL. The day’s proceedings have been meticulously planned to ensure a fulfilling and enriching experience for all attendees.
Here is the schedule for the day:
• 9:30am – A thoughtful Urdu speech by our respected Hafiz Sher Muhammad, which will surely ignite our hearts and minds with renewed spiritual vigor.
• 9:45am – An insightful English speech by our esteemed Shaykh Ayub Patel, who will impart his deep wisdom and understanding to inspire us all on this blessed day.
• 10:00am – The main event: The Eid Prayer, followed by the enlightening Khutba.
To ensure your comfort and safety during the prayer, we kindly request that each participant brings their own prayer mats. We would also like to inform you that there will be no facilities available for wudhu on-site, so we encourage everyone to perform their ablution at home prior to attending.
For those planning to drive to the event, please note that the car park at Ochilview Park will be open from 9am onwards.
In the spirit of Eid, let’s come together to create a day filled with peace, harmony, and remembrance of Allah’s countless blessings.
May this Eid Al Adha strengthen our faith, fill our hearts with peace, and be a source of countless blessings for us all.
We eagerly look forward to celebrating with you on this auspicious day.
Eid Mubarak to you and your families!
JazakAllahu Khairan, Falkirk Islamic Centre
