About Us

Welcome to Falkirk Islamic Centre

Initially there was one Islamic Centre located in Stirling (Bannockburn Road, St Ninians). As the community expanded larger, a new centre was required in order to accommodate due to the large number of Muslims living in Falkirk and surrounding areas.

This led to Falkirk Islamic Centre forming in 1992, providing a unique prayer space for all Muslims and services for non-Muslim and Muslim in the community. Almost 30 years since the establishment of the Falkirk Islamic Centre, it has become a central resource for the community and it’s surrounding areas.

Islam Pillars

The Five Pillars Of Islam

The basic principles of Islam that define the lives of Muslims worldwide

The basis of Islamic belief, shahada is the acceptance of Allah as the sole diety and Muhammad ﷺ as His messenger.

As the primary form of worship, Salah plays a daily role in the lives of all Muslims worldwide.

As-Sawm is the act fasting in devotion to Allah. Muslims are obliged to fast during the month of Ramadan.

Muslims believe that we all have a responsibility in taking care of our community and Zakah is the act of charity that aims to do that.

The great pilgrimage to the Kaaba is undertaken by millions of Muslims each year and forms the final pillar of Islam.
